If your tooth already has a cavity that has broken through the surface, you need a filling, and Dr. Timpanaro will tell you that rather than sell you a treatment that will not help.
There is no drilling and no injection, so there is nothing to numb. Most patients describe the appointment as similar to a fluoride treatment. You sit still for a few minutes while the formula does its work.
